General Hospital of Corinth: working at the Unit of Thallasemia with children
and adults, making workshops and cultural activities, working at the
Blood Unit, going out with the mobile van for blood donation in rural
areas, working in the library of the hospital, contributing and
helping the social workers in Psichargos, doing workshops with mentally ill
people, communication and social help, improving the quality of life
of the thalassemic patients during their treatment by offering to
them alternative indoor and outdoor activities, encouraging the
patients to accept the weekly chelating therapy and facilitating the
integration of the thalassemic patients in the social life. Youth
Information: Creation of Information tools, school visits, support of
Youth info points in the hospital of Corinth, support of youth
organization of the county in the youth center of Kiato. Youth
activities: e.g. entertainment performance at the Youth Week in
Athens.
