Adding on to our Wunsiedel project recap: a big part of our project was the discovery of the space's history. The participants visited the "Deutsch-deutsches Museum" in Mödlareuth, where they had a tour on the history of WW2 and it's subsequent circumstances in Germany. They also got to see the memorial site "Langer Gang" in Schwarzenbach/Saale, a memorial about the women that went on a death march, that passed through Schwarzenbach. The program also included a visit at the concentration camp Flossenbürg, which made the depth of its history more graspable.
