Hello, I’m Viktoria and Filoxenia is my sending organization for my European Solidarity Corps program as a volunteer in Wroclaw, Poland.
Volunteering was something I wanted to do for years but it wasn’t the right time. Now I decided to take the leap and do something for myself and for the world.
Our activities as volunteers so far due to the coronavirus pandemic are limited, but still a lot can be done. We are preparing some videos with various topics (for example street children,earth day etc), hosting people from other countries that visit Poland, and offering language courses to people.
The more time progresses and the restrictions lessen it will be possible to do more things like visiting schools and hosting
events.
The first month has been a great ride and I can’t wait to see what’s gonna follow.
