The special programme that took place between 13-16 February 2024 in Berlin between the associations Filoxenia and Bautechnik e.V. brought together executives from vocational education, local government and the German Milling Federation.
We had the opportunity to visit the historic windmill at the Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, the Knobelsdorffschule in Spandau as well as a construction site of the August Reiners company of the Mathematical Faculty of the Technical University of Berlin! The aim was to exchange experiences and know-how about the involvement of apprentices and young people in the reconstruction of traditional buildings
The community of Kryoneri and the Municipality of Sikyonia, which participated in the project, support such actions, and a rescue intervention is planned for 2024 at the Kryoneri watermill, which was destroyed by fire.
