Tara Koch is an active volunteer in Lechovo, contributing to various aspects of the village’s cultural and community life. She supports the cultural association Profitis Ilias by helping organize local events for its members and the inhabitants, which are essential for preserving Lechovo's heritage. Additionally, she manages online publicity, promoting the village's cultural and tourist attractions, including the “Paths of Peace”, to a broader audience.
She organized the Youth Club of Lechovo, which hosts during afternoon around 30 youngsters and children aged between 7 and 15 years, offering different activities.
She is visiting also two old local women in their homes, who are survivors of Lechovo’s Holocaust.
Her language skills have been crucial in translating materials into German and English, making Lechovo's resources accessible to international visitors. Tara also assists with the digitization of the village’s historical archives, ensuring their preservation and accessibility.
Overall, Tara’s work has significantly benefited Lechovo, enhancing its cultural preservation efforts and improving the village’s appeal to tourists.
