Filoxenia is hosting international project on sustainable development "Green living in the rural area".
This project includes Training seminar and 2 flows of group EVS projects. All projects will be hosted in Kryoneri Korinthias, in the Youth Hostel "Elisson" http://xenon.elisson.gr/.
The Training seminar "Green living in the rural area" already started!
There are 22 participants taking place in this project from 10 countries (Liechtenstein, Slovakia, Czech republic, UK, Germany, Romania, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Greece).
Having in mind the urgency of a sustainable development in our societies, the idea behind this project is to empower youth workers and their organizations in terms of social and environmental responsibility, saving and optimizing of resources and also strategies of self-financing.
The training course “Green living in the rural area” intends to train youth workers to reuse and recycle materials and provide them with the competences to act as multipliers in their own organisations.
The following practical issue is set into the training's programme:
• promotion of land tourism's sustainability;
• reusing recycling material for wooden constructions;
• construction of a tree-house for environmental seminars
This project is coordinated by "Europäische Jugendbegleiter (EJL)" organisation from Liechtenstein and funded by the European Programme Erasmus+.
