During the period 5th-14th of April 2019, Filoxenia hosted youth exchange between Greek and German schools called "Diversity" in cooperation with the Jugendakademie Walberberg from Germany.
Organization Filoxenia hosted the second module of the training series „Krzyżowa Model goes Greece”. 31 people from Poland, Greece, Czech Republic, Germany, and Romania gathered in Kryoneri to deal with the topic of inclusion in international youth work.
The 3rd international inclusive dance festival united around 100 people from 10 different countries. Participants had a possibility to explore the magnificent world of dance and individual and cultural diversity by attending dance and music workshops and being a part of a big international community.
This project was coordinated by the Luxembourgish organization Service national de la jeunesse (SNJ). The Partner organization - FILOXENIA conducted a volunteering activity in Kryoneri, Korinthias (Greece).
The European Environmental Volunteering Program “Act Green” was the first team activity developed under the program European Solidarity Corps, managed by FILOXENIA -Intercultural-Environmental Organization, with support from the Greek National Agency, the Institute of Youth and Lifelong Learning.
The Community of Kryoneri Corinthia and the Embassy of Israel in Greece co-organized the Yad Vashem Award Ceremony where Mr. Nikolaos Athanasoulis and Mr. Athanasios Dimopoulos received the prestigious award "Righteous Among the Nations" for the rescue of the Jewish family of Abraham Kamchi during the Holocaust.
