The European network Ecocitizens.eu is an initiative of the NGO Filoxenia. It started in 2008 through a project supported by European Commission in the frame of the "Youth in Action" program "Pilot Thematic Network".
It gathers organisations from all over Europe working mainly on environmental activities. The network aims at pooling experience in environmental education and actions.
